OF already has perlite mixed in. It's based on general preference.

1 gallon is 4 liters.
2 is 8
3 is 12
Etc...
If passing 1 liter of water in a 2 gallon pot...runs off in less than 20 seconds (timed)...
You have too much perlite regardless of soil type. Especially if you're growing outside.
30 to 45 seconds to run off is pretty good.
Beyond 1 minute, your soil lacks drainage.
2 is 8
3 is 12
