Hello everyone. I am new to tent growing. I e always done outdoor crops. Now where I live I don’t get enough sunlight, so indoors now.

I assume I will have some stupid questions. So thanks in advance

I am fascinated with auto flowers. I’ve grown 3 of them so far. Those were outdoors.

So my set up is a 2x4x5 with Mars Hydro TSL 2000 I’m close to the VPD I want but still tweaking it. I am growing in coco coir with 3.9 gallon auto pots. I am following the information I have found about growing in coco coir. Today I noticed some yellowing so I had to give them some cal-mag. I’m at day 4 since they popped

@Arnis&Weed :pass: .. I'm no help..I'm outdoor..but I asked one of our indoor growers to check you out...and the fact you are using worm casting with coco and spraying cal/mag has him scratching his head....

Any reason why you are using such an unusual combo...?...:pass:

Be careful with the calmag........it is very easy to over do it at that age and too much will lock out your nitrogen. Not sure why you use worm castings in your coco as coco isn't normally used with organics although there are some on here that have done it with success. I use Canna Coco bricks and I have not had the need to use calmag yet other than a couple drops to stabilize ph in RO water.

Well I had the castings available and just figured I would put some nutrients in the coco. I’m not a scientist😂 I have always been outdoors in soil. This is all new to me. I did do a lot of homework. Now I’m here trying to get it all failed in and I’m very grateful for the help

Good to know. If this turns out to be a big fail I will just use pure coco

Typical bloody gardener...if I've got it.. I'll throw it in...I'm a gardener too..... :coffee: ..my hint is...if you confuse our helpers you are probably doing it wrong..:d5:..coz they are really good...

So..it looks like you are showing us this time..what Will it do to them...:watering:

If it is pre buffered it doesn't need calmag. Unbuffered coco on the other hand needs a lot of calmag in the buffering process.. I found the Canna Coco to be very well buffered and I just rehydrate it with proper ph water and plant away. Don't worry about making mistakes ......we all do.......it's how we learn. Experience is your best teacher..... :pass:

In my opinion…. You should try and pick a grow style. Salt based nutrients, organic bottle nutrients, full living soil organics, etc.

They rarely intermingle well….especially organics and salts.
