Did you guys have "party lines"?Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember hubby having to carry one of the oldest mobile phones for his work....the battery was the size of a small suitcase.....
And old enough to remember being the only house in the street that had a landline...so the neighbours used to come knocking on the door with some phone money if they wanted to call the doctors or anything.......
and...how many teenagers can fit inside a phone box if it was raining......
