@Feenix not trying to cause a worry but in the early eighty's I worked at a titanium factory and was high every day. Its lighter and stronger then steel. @WildBill wow are you in Alaska ? @Mossy I hate shoes too :smokeout: The birds are getting a whoopin from the cold. It also has amazing heat resistance. I had a small pipe made of it and I could stoke it up and no matter how hot I could hold it by the bowl.

The biggest hunk of titainum I've seen is the ball of the ball valve of the TDU(Trash Disposal Unit) on a old S-Class attack submarine or first gen Ballistic missile submarine, same unit in either................I'm toasted! Chocolates kicking in!
It surprised me on how light it was. I can't grasp how expensive it must have been way back then when it was built.

Ya the shitz amazing. You should see what happens when a bunch ignites. I turned scrap into giant welding rods where they were melted for the military right after the dc-9 nose cone probs in 80. Only so much around. Ever see a 2 1/2 pound titanium ashtray :baked:
