Good Morfnoevight All! EO.
Productive day for me! Got my pain level down pretty well and worked in the shop.
Got some much-needed sweeping and a little pickup of stuff.
Worked on my my old creampuff 03 Crown Vic LS Sport. Replaced the battery, Replaced an idler pully. Drained the fuel tank of very old gas and replaced the fuel filter. Removed the MAF and throttleboty, cleaned both and replaced them.
Primed the oiling and fuel systems, car started instantly, popped off high idle and settled into a nice steady silky smooth idle.
Backed her out of the shop and pulled into my wash bay outside and gave a good wash down. She was FILTHY! It was just normal wash. I still have some other things to do before it gets a detail and paint correction.
Other than flatspot city, the test drive was uneventful, other than being surprised with a little burnout and chirping second. I forgot I had installed a set of rear gears!
A pretty good day! We shall see how the night goes. There may be "dues" to pay, hopefully not!
