Some battles are hard fought and won, this isn't one of them today. What I do works pretty well, sometimes too well.
The biggest problem is that it's just not one of the types of pain I have, it's all of them. Joint, muscle and nerve at every point of injury and damage is hard to control at times. They exacerbate each other.
I first thought I had covid this morning, but no fever.

Aches hurt me a lot worse when I get the cold or flu. Usually just before take care

I was expecting to hear that the block or crank were bad but they are fine for rebuild. Cylinders will be +30 or 40. #4 is pretty close for the 30, it has the most wear and tapir - wider at the top. Most likely caused by the broken ring.

And the winner is me because I am not sure this truck had many miles before a catastrophic failure and yet not! Safely driven into the garage.
