Well peeps, methinks I have a problem:

Two questions, first, are these what I think they are?
Second, given that the plant is not quite ready for sleepytime duty which is what I need, WTF do I do about it. My temptation is to chop the offending bud carefully and continue on. These are not the only ones, nor the only cola.
Before the tap root shows out of the starting cube so you do not risk bumping it. I used to just start them in the net pot with the starter cube held in place by PH balanced clay pebbles -Hydroton. I had a pump that ran water near the starter cube to encourage the roots to get down into the reservoir.
