I used to hunt ginseng in my younger days, figured out quick it was easier to get others to do it for me on a daily pay basis rather than them waiting a month for the buyer to come around.
Seng hunting is big in these parts

Old or young, I never did cold very well. Always kept coming back to Florida.

I emigrated 1,200 miles South..... :pass: ...but we still Feel it........
 
Seng hunting is big in these parts
Yep. You'll see more "hunting ginseng without a license" charges in my local paper than anything else right after the berries drop. My only complaint is how bad they tear up the ground in some of the wildlife areas around here. To me, they're almost as bad as the shovelhead guys that'll leave trash and beer bottles everywhere.
