I remember using a magbase on a sub, but I can't exactly remember what I was working on, too damn high, but I think it was that damn sail plane job on a 688 class sub. There was a class problem on the early production subs on the attachment and stabilizing of the sail planes. My old shop we had this big as electro magnetic drill press. Took 2 guys to muscle it in place. The old shop stewart told me working in the bridges the power fired up the magnet and held the drill press to the bridge steel. Worked really well he said.
Till one day he says the freaking power cut. He says you could see all these drill presses sailing thru the air and splashing into the river
Hahahahaha

....... and I'm calling the movements. The crane operator and crane are from the shipyard and he's good.

pppOh sure the squiddy little bastard copped to a shark movie. We know what he was really watching......

Now THAT was a dangerous AF ob there.I passed on driving a truck over there cause I couldn't have weapons......good money but too easy to lose my life.
Is that the head of a 3 eyed alligator eating a bunch of grapes under the chair or is it a blueberry pie?
