I know.....sneaked in to count how many Mickey's you had left.....I've decided we are not shopping 'til Monday......

All the shops are shut again Tuesday for the 3 kings celebration ...big one in Spain.

Spanish holiday/panic shopping is so funny.

You see 5 or 6 people come in with a 4ft Granny...who's nose just reaches a shopping trolley handle.

They set granny away with the trolley like a walking aid. The adult kinds/grand kids all shoot off in all directions grabbing everything they want off the shelves and dashing back and filling up the granny trolley..

Then you see 4ft Granny..pushing a 6ft piled up trolley...that she cannot even see over...heading for the checkout and you are praying you do not end up in the queue behind her... ..oh the joys....

One year..we were in the Christmas queues with a trolley full and there was an old guy behind with just a couple of bits...so we said go first..with a bit persuasion he did.

Then as we were packing ours..he walked back in with 2 heads of broccoli for us for letting him in.......nice huh..?..

It gets me like that with the days over an extended holiday too......hey...I smoke good dope.........


What I was checking on the glucose for the other day wasn't to cheat the doctor.. it's to cheat hubby.....if I can make some dietary changes without him thinking about it..I will. I try to balance out his bad habits with diet..

His mother's pancreas packed in completely when she was in her late 90's...but she hadn't drank like a fish for 60 years..she was talking something like 27 pills a day to replace her pancreas function.....so I've got an idea where we are headed...and if I can delay that for a few years..I will......

@PinkyNotTheBrain mentioned cinnamon and that's one I can add in..coz I always sprinkle it on melon anyway..he likes it..

And the other I have spotted is green juicing..now I would do that..but I ain't gotta hope of getting hubby to.....

But I can swap white cabbage for spring greens...so that's the kind of changes I mean....chief cook......

If you look at the underside of the leaf coming out at 3 o'clock..you can see the tric underleaf formation..drift left and you see all the trics rimming the leaf..and curling...Very endearing Deep Chunk trait... ..

I want to slurp the terps every time I look at her....

..but there's only 1 Frog in there...sigh....

But this lot is Morphing...so I want to watch them grow without trimming....
