I think the drama was the overreaction to 420 making a joke! If we joke with u its cuz u are considered one of the crew!Drama?
I asked a really simple question. I wanted to see what was being talked about. That (I imagine) is understandable curiosity. I have been here a long time, and if we are all going to be moving to a different platform I would like a look at it. So I asked for more information. My asking about it was not a joke, I have a vested personal interest in this place. If it is to change I want to know about it.
I will just wait it out and see what happens.
For what it is worth, now that I have seen the new site I am not a huge fan, but I am willing to poke around with it some more to get a more informed opinion.
My big concern is about migration of content. It would be a tremendous loss to not have that carry over.
Is it not possible to just move the site content to a new provider?I think the drama was the overreaction to 420 making a joke! If we joke with u its cuz u are considered one of the crew!

And Hobbes checked into the data migration thing but apparently is really expensive but that was mainly discussed in the staff room between the decision makers!
Thats what i said in my initial description was looking into a new hosting company! Hobbes started building out a small bit for now so people could check it out now but assume the site would get migrated over if thats the route they go!I guess I am not entirely sure why the blame for the problems the current site is experiencing is not placed at the feet of the hosting company. You can move an existing website to a new host.
I am not privy to the inner workings, but moving the site to a better host seems easier than adapting to a whole new site.
