Yup, since I'm doing my Osmocote experiment the water I will be using during the top watering phase will be mosquito bits infused for any lingering lil buggers.U do realize all your doing is killing any living gnats in the soil! U are in no way preventing them from returning! I tried same trick to my oly compost at 1 point cuz it had way more springtails then I wanted and it made it all dry and crusty but def didn’t kill them off!

I didn't feel the price they wanted for their press was a good deal. I have the sleeve but also got the stainless steel insert, made it a lot easier on me to just lift it out and pour from it. 1st use I used a strainer and spoon so a 20 buck press will work perfect for me.
