Yep. We use the standalone version. Works great if you are careful not to cut/chop your herbs too fine.

Headed off for a 6 mile hike to a sweet waterfall/swimming hole off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The trailhead is off a fire road and not too many people know about it in the first place. Much less do the hike. Nice and serene away from the holiday mobs.
