I'm going to look into an add-on to put hashtags and a tag cloud back on the forum (so the most popular tags show up in the tag cloud, and generally the larger the font, the more that tag has been used.) That way when you use the # sign, it creates a linkable tag to that content (like it works on any most other social platforms.)
