Looks like you could have a root issue starting. Hard to tell, but that would explain the slow growth. Possibly the extra light was getting into your reservoir? Looks like slime near top of roots is starting, but Hard to tell for sure on my device. Good luck!

The brownish tint it's getting you mean? That and the discoloration of the roots is due to the staining of the roots by the nutrients.
